WHO WE ARE

Paradigm Architects was established in 2004.

The principals of the firm are Nic Akritidis and James Wylie. Mr. Akritidis has been practicing as an architect since 1996 and Mr. Wylie since 1998.
Both graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand and are registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP).
In his spare time, Mr. Akritidis lectures a first-year structures course to students at the University of the Witwatersrand.

The company was instituted as a forward-looking architectural firm dedicated to innovation in design and excellence in service.

Our collective experience encompasses all fields of architectural design ranging from commercial to residential, as well as more specialised structures (industrial, conferencing, places of worship). In addition, the firm is involved in urban planning and design, with experience in a broad spectrum of schemes ranging in size and function from small scale residential interventions to large scale urban creation and re-generation schemes.
